In 1976, armed with a college degree
and a commission as an Army 2d Lieutenant Vincent (Vinny) Boles began his
leadership journey. A native of NY City, he has commanded at every rank in his
33 years of service to the nation. Selected for promotion to Brigadier General
in 2000 and Major General in 2004. His final military assignment was to serve
in the Pentagon as the Army’s Chief Operating Officer for Logistics. Supporting
our Soldiers with everything they need, anywhere they need it, when they need. With service both as a Commander and
on the highest levels of the Army staff General Boles has been a key linchpin
in providing support to our Soldiers during the Global War on Terror. We are
delighted to have him here today to share his message regarding the leadership
of people under the toughest conditions while managing and maintaining the
world’s largest supply chain. Ladies and Gentlemen… Please join me in a warm
(Location/group) welcome for our speaker…General Vincent E. Boles.
